After the past few years of leading longer immersions and container experiences, we’ve consistently heard a clear message. It is time to offer these extended journeys more frequently, as we recognize the meaningful benefits that arise from spending dedicated time in community and in communion with plant teachers.

We have come to appreciate the depth of transformation possible when we can spend focused, intentional time with each participant. Whether you are experienced with the medicine, seeking to deepen your healing, or a newcomer wanting a gentler and more gradual introduction, this longer container offers the opportunity to go deeper wherever you find yourself on the path.

A six-day journey provides ample space. Space to connect more fully with yourself, with the medicine, and with the collective process of unfolding and discovery. Our work is constantly evolving, and life has guided us into a new chapter. Portugal has become the place where this next phase will take root. A land that feels aligned with the pace, depth, and sincerity of the work we are called to offer. This valley in Central Portugal will be our home for now, allowing us to hold these longer containers more regularly and with the continuity they deserve.

Recommended for those:

Looking for inspiration and clarity

Looking for a deep and profound healing in life.

Who don’t know where their life is heading.

Simply looking to go deeper with oneself.

Who are at a crossroads in life.

Our Commitment to the Work

We bring years of experience, ongoing study, and devotion to our own practice. Our intention is to offer steady support and clear guidance throughout your journey, holding a grounded container that allows you to enter the work at a pace that feels right for you. Everything we offer during this immersion is designed to help you go deeper with clarity and purpose.

This gathering is intentionally small, with space for only 10 to 12 participants. This allows us to give each person the attention they need and to create a field where everyone feels held. The ceremonies will be guided with music, silence, and presence, supported by the wisdom of the medicine and the natural world around us.

To nourish and support the ceremonial process, Loural’s kitchen will prepare organic vegetarian meals, many of which come directly from the permaculture garden on site. All drinking water throughout the immersion comes from the natural spring on the land — clean, mineral-rich, and untouched.

Between ceremonies, there will be time for rest, movement, nature, integration, and quiet reflection. Walking paths, forests, the valley, and spacious afternoons all become part of the container. Every aspect of this immersion is shaped to invite self-awareness, healing, and personal growth.

Alongside the six days in Portugal, we offer guidance to help you prepare for the immersion and to support your integration afterward. This includes a group ZOOM call before the gathering, dietary suggestions, simple supportive recipes for before and after ceremony, and two integration calls once you return home. Personalised support can be offered where needed.

This expanded arc allows the work to be held with continuity, helping you to enter the immersion with clarity and to return home with grounding and direction.

Spaces are limited to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure a fully supportive and intimate container.

A Sign from the Medicine

Before taking any step toward offering this work in Portugal, I made a simple prayer: that if this transition was aligned, the medicine would send a clear and tangible sign.

Ten days later, that sign arrived.

In Brazil, at the Santo Daime church that has been preparing our medicine for fourteen years, a man returned from a piece of land soon to be cleared for city expansion. On his final walk through the forest, he found a vine unlike anything they had encountered before. Two biologists later estimated the vine to be around one hundred years old.

Shortly after, the community reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in receiving medicine prepared from this vine. In that moment, something settled clearly inside. I received this as the sign I had been asking for.

As the elders of Colonia 5000 began cooking the medicine, they shared that they felt this vine had arrived as a blessing for Céu do Novo Mundo, and that its presence was supporting the next phase of our work and our move to Portugal. Its timing felt intentional.

Just as it is with humans, wisdom grows with age.
The same is true for the vines.

In all these years, I have only a few times drunk medicine prepared from a vine of around seventy years old. Those ceremonies carried a depth and steadiness that left a lasting impression. There was a mature, quiet wisdom in that medicine, and I always hoped I would one day be able to work again with medicine made from such old vines.

To now be invited to work with an even older vine feels like a continuation of that prayer. I look very much forward to serving this medicine in Portugal in the years ahead.

If you feel called to sit with the teachings of this old vine, you are welcome to join us.

The centenarian vine, discovered and rescued shortly before the land it grew on was to be cleared.

Gathering Details

Day 1 - Arrival and 1st ceremony: A Gentle Introduction
Upon arrival, you’ll have time to settle in and meet the group during the afternoon. A 1:1 intake conversation with a team member will help set the tone for your journey. We will gather in our first circle to share intentions and enter into the first evening ceremony together.

Day 2 – 2nd ceremony: Night of Deep Healing
The morning will include gentle movement and breathing exercises, followed by a spacious day to relax, enjoy the natural surroundings, and reflect. In the evening, we come together for our second night of deep healing in ceremony.

Day 3 – Integration and Movement
A day dedicated to grounding practices, with time for movement, rest, and integration. This space allows your process to unfold with care and attention.

Day 4 – 3rd ceremony: Connection with Nature
The day begins with a nourishing breakfast and movement session. After a relaxed brunch, we gather in the afternoon for our third ceremony, this time during the day.

Day 5 – 4th ceremony: Day of Celebration
A balance of rest, movement, and exploration leads into the fourth ceremony, held in the late afternoon. This day deepens the work, offering a space for both personal insight and group connection. We come together to celebrate our shared journey.

Day 6 – Closing and Departure
On the final day, we come together to close our shared journey. A final circle of movement, expression, and sharing will help integrate the experience before we transition back into daily life. Departure follows after the closing lunch.

Accommodation & What’s Included

For this gathering, we will be staying at Loural Eco Village, a forested sanctuary in the mountains of Central Portugal. The village offers a simple, natural, and comfortable environment for this work. Participants will have the opportunity to stay either in single rooms, shared rooms or in bell tents, all nestled within the landscape. The group size remains intentionally small, allowing for quiet, depth, and personal attention throughout the journey.

Everything you need for the immersion is held within the land itself; the stone houses, the beautiful temple space, the forest trails, the gardens, and the natural spring that provides all drinking water. This creates a grounded and supportive setting for the week.

  • From Lisbon International Airport: it takes approximately 2.5 hours by car

  • From Porto International Airport: it takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes by car
