Natalie Marie Shapiro

A woman of the earth, Natalie is a force of nature and spirit, combining her love for soul-centric human development, plant wisdom, ecology, embodiment, ritual and mysticism as instruments for personal and collective evolution.

Natalie has had the honor of intimately studying and working with sacred plant medicines and teachers for the last seven years. The precision and depth of these sacred technologies have guided her on a path of ongoing study and traditional dieting with master plants, while working closely with highly-practiced teachers and guides to support her capacity to deeply listen to and serve these ancient ways.

Amidst the plant path, Natalie leads one-on-one and group immersions in the realms of nature-based human development, where she dives into the heart of becoming more human. This nature-based work has led her to facilitating both online and in wild places, and is designed to elicit greater wholeness, healing and maturation, alongside a deepening relationship with the earth and the inherent purpose we all possess.

Natalie devoted many years offering trauma-informed mindfulness, embodiment practices and council to people of diverse ages and backgrounds in clinical eating disorder treatment. Alongside this work, she taught yoga publicly with emphasis on restorative modalities, philosophy and meditation.

Amidst these healing and developmental paths, Natalie is devoted to bringing forth equitable and balanced systems devoted to uplifting: ancient traditions, more-than-human beings, and the elementals.

Both personally and as a healer, ceremonialist and guide, Natalie is committed to the path of soul — holding the vision that as we come into more holistic relationship with the deep self, a more restored and enriched relationship with all-life is made possible. She is humbled and honored to serve life in the highest, deepest and wisest ways, and holds these paths in great reverence, responsibility and love.

Natalie’s formal education rests in Sociology and International Studies, with degrees and certifications from the University of Amsterdam and San Francisco State University. She is additionally trained in: Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Nature-Based Human Development through Animas Valley Institute, Trauma-Informed Mindfulness through the Somatic Experiencing Institution, and Trauma and Social Change through Meridian University. Natalie holds multiple certifications in yogic and healing practices, and has studied directly with leaders in the fields of equity and justice, and spiritual ecology.
